Post-TGE Highlights

• The $ZEX Airdrop claim went live on June 27. 80 million tokens are now in the hands of nearly 80,000 of our amazing traders.

• In just three weeks, over 20.7M ZEX have been staked, and more than 14,000 early stakers have secured their allocation for the Staking Airdrop. If you haven’t done it yet, get your share by staking ZEX before July 25, 09:59 UTC: https://dex.zeta.markets/staking

Genesis Epoch & Epoch 1 Rewards

• The Genesis Epoch kicked off with 8M ZEX rewards reserved for Zeta traders. The higher your Z-Score, the more ZEX you’ll reap.

• The Genesis Epoch will conclude on July 25, 09:59 UTC, but this is just the beginning. Epoch 1 will start immediately after, with a fresh round of ZEX trading incentives as well as new rewards for ambassadors and creators.

• All info will be dropping in the next few days, make sure to turn on your notifications!

Staking Airdrop

• Everyone staking ZEX before July 25 will automatically qualify for a share of the Staking Airdrop (20M ZEX).

• Allocations will be based on your average gZEX over the Genesis Epoch. This means that those who staked immediately after the airdrop claim went live will have a significant advantage.

• Haven’t staked yet but still want a piece of the pie? You’re still in time: stake more ZEX and stake longer to maximize your share.

• The Staking Airdrop will be distributed in the form of gZEX, vested over 3 months (minimum period for your tokens to unlock).

Genesis Epoch Rewards & Staking Airdrop: Wen?

• Once the Genesis Epoch ends, we'll set the allocations for the Staking Airdrop (based on gZEX, as detailed above) and the 8M ZEX trading rewards (determined by Z-Score).

• Distributions will occur as soon as the calculations are complete. We’ll announce the specific day and timing later this week, ensuring it falls within a few days of the Epoch's conclusion.

Q&A

• Does the governance component REALLY have value for ZEX?

  Governance will indeed play a crucial role for ZEX. We're committed to giving our community a voice in shaping Zeta’s future developments and key decisions. While governance is still in the planning stages, it’s definitely one of our priorities. Currently, our main focus is also on developing Zeta X, our DeFi Layer 2 on Solana. This rollup will significantly improve the trading experience on Zeta, alleviate Solana’s congestion issues, and open up new utilities for ZEX. An updated roadmap will be shared soon!

  
  

• Instead of fixed rewards for each epoch, what do you think about changing the rewards based on the previous epoch's trading volume? If the trading volume increases in the previous epoch, the rewards for the next epoch will be increased accordingly?

  This is a great suggestion and something we’re actively considering. Starting with fixed rewards helps us establish benchmarks and monitor trading activity, especially since we’re still in the post-TGE discovery phase. In future epochs, we plan to adjust these mechanics—they aren't set in stone. The guiding principle will be to increasingly reward those who use our platform the most. We aim to balance trading activity and volume, ensuring fairness and not just favoring the biggest players.

  
  

• Can you list all the incentives to stake Zex into gZex?

  In future epochs, stakers of $ZEX will receive staking rewards and gain governance power in proportion to their gZEX. This ensures our most loyal users get the maximum benefits. We’re actively working on the implementation of staking benefits and will share more details soon.

  
  

• Are you planning to provide additional Z-Score for PnL or similar mechanisms?

  We had this mechanism pre-TGE, where traders received a multiplier based on their leaderboard ranking. It is possible we will implement it again in the future, along with campaigns for new asset listed, trading competitions, and more.

  
  

• How about adding a tracker for token unlocks and emissions?

  We are planning to implement this, with a commitment to full transparency regarding wallets and multi-sig operations. We are currently gathering the necessary information and will soon be able to share all the details with the community.
